Sparkle star Shuvee Etrata described her journey in The Master Cutter as a fruitful one. She even likened it to a great school experience with so many people willing to help her hone her talent as an actress.
Sharing her work experience in the GMA Prime series, the morena beauty revealed to GMANetwork.com that she constantly asks questions or seeks pointers on her performance as Tonet.
“I feel like those moments when I asked the directors, the people around me, I always feel like I'm a work in progress.” Shuvee said.
She continued, “I'm not a self-made person, ang daming nagsasabi, 'Ay! She's self-made, no, I'm not.
“It took a village to create me, it took a lot of Sparkle team, it took a lot of workshops. It took a lot of people behind-the-scenes gawin si Tonet.”
Shuvee noted that she is like a sponge every time she comes to the set. She would absorb all the knowledge that will help her in future projects.
“I take courage to ask those questions dahil alam ko these are the people that I can actually learn from. Like these people know better, sila 'yung mas nakakaalam nito and dapat ako maging sponge lalo na sa set.
“Dun ako dapat nagiging sponge para absorb lang ako nang absorb sa kung ano pa 'yung puwede kong matutunan. Then maybe, mas kakayanin ko na 'yung mga future roles natin or mas magiging challenging pa 'yung roles ko in the future.
