Shuvee Etrata, one of Sparkle's fast-rising stars and a cast member of 'The Master Cutter,' is heading to the United States for a well-deserved birthday getaway after months of nonstop work.

After months of juggling back-to-back projects and public appearances, Shuvee Etrata has decided to reward herself with a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the United States in celebration of her birthday.

Following her successful stint in Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, the fast-rising Sparkle talent has been busier than ever — attending major events, securing brand endorsements, and landing roles in two highly anticipated television projects.

Despite her hectic schedule, the Cebuana actress shared that she wanted to take a short break to rest and reflect on how far she has come, especially after finally completing her family's house in Polomolok, South Cotabato.

In an interview on 24 Oras, Shuvee became emotional while talking about being able to travel to America and provide for her family at the same time.

“Nakakaiyak na nakaka-proud na kaya ko na. Kaya ko na pumunta ng Amerika,” Shuvee told Aubrey Carampel.

She added: “Kasi tapos na 'yung bahay sa Polomolok, tapos nakabili na rin ako ng mga kailangan nila. So alam mo 'yung marami na rin ako pinagdaanan this year na kailangan ko rin i-tap 'yung sarili ko para at least mas makatrabaho pa ako.”

Shuvee is also grateful for the positive response she has been receiving for her role in the high-rating GMA Prime series The Master Cutter.

She plays Tonet, the kikay Cebuana assistant of Atoy, portrayed by Dingdong Dantes.

Reading the encouraging comments from viewers, Shuvee shared how happy she is to represent Bisaya culture and language on mainstream television.

“Masaya lang ako na na-represent ko 'yung mga Bisaya. Masaya ako na I'm able to represent Bisaya or the native language or our regional language sa mainstream media. And tumataba 'yung puso ko na nakikita ko 'yung love n'yo.”

Also part of the star-studded cast of The Master Cutter are Max Collins, Sienna Stevens, Jo Berry, and Paolo Contis, alongside veteran stars Tonton Gutierrez, Joey Marquez, Polo Ravales, Ketchup Eusebio, Max Eigenmann, and Rio Locsin.

Adding more star power to the series are Sparkle artists Charlie Fleming, Prince Carlos, and Anthony Constantino.
