English singer-songwriter Sienna Spiro's voice has been everywhere on TikTok, thanks to her viral hit “Die On This Hill.”
The singer shared her reaction to the song's viral success and how she wrote it during a fireside chat with her at the Director's Club at S Maison in Conrad Manila, Pasay City, on May 2.
"That's crazy," Sienna said, still speechless yet grateful for the overwhelming love and support for “Die On This Hill.”
The 20-year-old singer shared that she had always wanted to write something like “Die On This Hill.”
"That's something I want to write because there is a saying, I guess, it's about being stubborn, and I am stubborn, so I related to it a lot," she said.
She added, "I guess, I was at home one night, and somebody was playing a video of 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' and I thought I should learn it and I tried. So, I ended up finding the chord for 'Die on This Hill' because I couldn't play 'Bohemian Rhapsody.'"
After creating the chords for “Die On This Hill,” she finished the song with her friends the next day and wrote around a hundred different versions over a span of nine months.
Sienna Spiro also recently held a live showcase at the Maybank Theater in Bonifacio Global City on the same day.
Sienna Spiro is known for hits such as “The Visitor,” “You Stole The Show,” “Maybe,” and “Die On This Hill.”
