
Stop what you are doing, ReVeluvs! Leading K-entertainment portal Soompi has reported today, June 9 that Red Velvet will be making its comeback this August.
Based on the Soompi report, the group's agency, SM Entertainment, confirmed the details of their return to Newsen.
Part of the article reads, “Red Velvet is preparing for a new album with the goal of a comeback in August. Please look forward to it.”
Red Velvet members Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri have been busy with their individual projects during their more than one year of hiatus.
Irene and Seulgi, as a unit, released at least two singles titled "Monster" and "Naughty."
Meanwhile, Wendy last March 2021 promoted her solo debut mini-album titled Like Water, while Joy recently launched her own debut album and summer anthem Hello.
Soompi has previously reported that Yeri and Irene have made their acting debuts, too.
Twitter Philippines exploded right after the news broke out with the hashtag 'RED VELVET AUGUST COMEBACK” quickly reaching the top spot of the top trending topics.
