Seasoned star Snooky Serna to the late award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose: 'Rest well, Ate Jane. Thank you will never be enough.'

Snooky Serna paid tribute to the late actress Jaclyn Jose, or Mary Jane Guck, who passed away on March 2, 2024.

In an Instagram post, the seasoned star shared “the other side” of the internationally-acclaimed actress. Snooky also revealed that she and Jaclyn only worked once on television and film.

“I sincerely admire her beauty and presence. And undoubtedly, her gift… her ability to morph into a completely different character. Each one, she breathes life with distinctive flair and craftsmanship that is genius and all hers.

“Pero bukod doon ang hindi malilimutan… ang kababaang loob ni Ms. Jaclyn Jose,” she wrote.

The former Underage star then expressed her gratitude to the late actress saying, “Salamat ate Jane sa pagsundo't hatid mo sa akin sa kapilya. Salamat din sa payo mo sa akin na ngayon [kahit] kailan sa point ng life ko ay KAILANGAN kong i-remind at ipaalala sa sarili ko.

“Thank you, Ms. Jaclyn Jose. Thank you, ate Jane.”

She went on, "I feel bad that I could not pay my last respects… I also want to reach out to your family, not only as your colleague but as one of the many people who you have shown kindness to. Rest well, ate Jane. Thank you will never be enough.”
