"Hindi ko po nakikita 'yung sarili ko na rumarampa," Sofia says candidly when asked about the possibility of joining beauty pageants.
Standing at 5'6, Kapuso actress Sofia Pablo is not closing her doors on joining beauty pageants in the future.
Sofia just turned 18 this year, and she has the looks and the brain to compete in beauty pageants.
"Sa ngayon po, no. Hindi ko po nakikita 'yung sarili ko na rumarampa, nagku-Q and A," sagot ni Sofia sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
"Sa ngayon wala pa, pero I'm not closing the doors po."
Tito Boy Abunda also asked Sofia how she viewed competition, especially in show business.
"I don't believe in competition, I don't believe 'yung competition with others. Naniniwala po ako na 'yung competition, it's within you. You should be better than yourself every day," Sofia said.
"Kunwari sa show na 'to, tapos you have a next show, you have to do better. Mas ginagalingan ko. Hindi talaga ako naniniwala sa parang competition with others, we're all different in our own ways."
Sofia is part of the MMFF movie Green Bones, starring Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid. Produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs, the film is directed by Zig Dulay and written by National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza.
From the big screen, Sofia is set to lead the cast of the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime show, Prinsesa Ng City Jail, on the small screen, premiering on January 13.
