Allen Ansay makes sure that he always has something sweet to give Sofia Pablo.
In this day and age where technology is readily available and courting can practically be done through texting or online chatting, Luv Is: Caught in His Arms star Sofia Pablo revealed that her co-star, Allen Ansay, would still write her letters.
In an interview on the Updated with Nelson Canlas Podcast, Sofia Pablo, when asked to fill in the blanks in the question "Love is when Allen does this to me," answered, "Love is when Allen writes letters."
She then explained, “Ang laman po nun usually lagi po siyang nagte-thank you hindi lang po sa akin, kung hindi kay Mommy, ganun. Tapos nagso-sorry siya pag may mga fault siya 'yon po 'yong usually laman."
Allen, meanwhile, admitted that before he met Sofia, he was not exactly fond of writing letters of any sort.
“Pero nung simula na nakilala ko si Sofi, nalaman ko na hindi siya mahilig sa mga materyal na bagay. Gusto niya yung mga simpleng love letters lang, mga ganun, mga message,” he added.
When it was his turn to answer the same fill-in-the-blank question, Allen said that he feels the love whenever he would see his favorite part of Sofia's face, her eyes.
He explained, “Ewan ko pag kinakausap ko siya hindi ko maalis 'yong mata ko sa mata niya e. 'Pag kinakausap ko siya, nakatingin talaga ko sa mata niya. Ang ganda kasi po.”
When the question was thrown back at her, Sofia answered that she loves that Allen takes the side of her Mom whenever she argues with her.
“Well, Allen po kasi, kapag nag-aaway po kami ni Mommy, hindi pa ako nagsasabi, nakikita niya kami na parang hindi kami nagpapansinan ni Mommy kahit for a short time, inaaway niya na po ako,” Sofia said.
She adds, “Tapos hindi na rin po ako kakausapin. So wala akong choice, kasi dalawa po silang galit sa akin pag nag-away kami ni Mommy.”
The Sparkle actress also revealed that her Mom also takes Allen's side when they would argue, which would often leave her no choice but to say sorry.
“Nakakatuwa lang po kasi imbis manggatong siya. ipapa-realize niya po na, 'Alam mo hindi ka dapat nag-aano kay Mommy. Dapat nagso-sorry ka, dapat nagte-thank you ka. Hindi mo dapat ginaganiyan si Mommy.'"
