South Korean star Song Joong-ki recently shared a heartwarming moment with his growing family.

The well-known actor surprised fans with the joyful news that he and his wife, actress Katy Louise Saunders, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl.

According to Soompi, Song Joong-ki broke the news to his fans in a heartfelt post on his fan cafe on November 20. He shared, "I'm currently in Rome and it's been just over a year since I met my first child here."

He then happily announced, "I'm incredibly grateful to announce that we've been blessed with another beautiful baby. Our lovely princess was born healthy, and both my wife and our baby are doing well and resting."

Last July 8, a representative from the actor's agency, High Zium Studio, told Hankook Ilbo that the celebrity couple were expecting their second child. However, details about the pregnancy were kept private as the family wished to maintain their privacy.

Song Joong-ki and Katy Louise Saunders' relationship was confirmed in December 2022. The couple met in 2021 through a mutual friend and tied the knot in January 2023. They welcomed their first child in Rome, Katy's hometown.

Song Joong-ki has charmed audiences worldwide with his versatile acting. One of his hit projects was his iconic role as Big Boss in the 2016 hit K-drama series, Descendants of the Sun. His performances have earned him a dedicated fanbase, including many fans in the Philippines.

Recently, he met Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino, who portrayed TSg Diego Ramos in the Philippine adaptation of the show. The two shared a quick chat about the drama and even shared a picture during the Busan International Film Festival.
