The highly anticipated 'Sparkle Run' sprinted to the top of X's trending topics as thousands of runners, celebrities, athletes, and fans gathered for the race event on Saturday morning (May 30).

The first-ever Sparkle Run was a resounding success, drawing celebrities, athletes, and fans to the Quirino Grandstand in Manila early Saturday morning (May 30) for the much-awaited race organized by Sparkle GMA Artist Center in partnership with RUNRIO.

Some of the biggest names in show business rose early to add a little sparkle to the event as they traversed iconic roads in the nation's capital, promoting fitness, wellness, and healthy living.

Among the Kapuso executives present was Sparkle First Vice President Joy Marcelo. Joining the festivities were some of Sparkle's biggest stars, including Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards, Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza, Gabbi Garcia, and Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco.

Adding even more star power to the event were housemates from Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, led by Mika Salamanca, Will Ashley, Dustin Yu, AZ Martinez, Vince Maristela, and Josh Ford. Also showing support for the race were Charlie Fleming and her The Master Cutter co-star Max Collins.

Fans and netizens actively shared their Sparkle Run experience online, posting photos and videos from the event and their encounters with Sparkle stars.

As of this writing, the hashtag #SparkleRun2026 has climbed to the No. 1 spot on X's trending topics list, reflecting the overwhelming support and excitement surrounding the inaugural race event.
