GMA's hit drama anthology I Can See You is back for a new season, with fresh episodes that revolve around the program's central theme of love and mystery, and with camera and visual devices playing an integral part in the storytelling.
ICSY 2's maiden offering will feature Kapuso stars Shaira Diaz and Ruru Madrid in the episode titled, “On My Way to You,” premiering on March 22 on GMA Telebabad.
It follows the story of Raki, a viral runaway bride who escapes to a remote mountainous area to take cover from all the online bashings that she is receiving.
She will meet Jerrick, a groom-to-be who has been jilted at the altar by his fiancée.
Fans of both Shaira and Ruru are excited to see the two stars onscreen, with some touting “On My Way to You” as a teaser of the pair's chemistry, which will be on full display on GTV's upcoming action-adventure series, Lolong.
So, intrigued by the episode's runaway bride theme, we asked the young stars of “On My Way to You” about their thoughts and feelings about marriage.

Gusto ko siguradong-sigurado ako and ayoko 'yong pabigla-bigla,” said Shaira, who is in a longtime relationship with Kapuso actor, EA Guzman.
The 25-year-old actress would rather take her sweet time rather than rush into taking the plunge.

The versatile actor shares Shaira's views and treats marriage as something sacred.
“Ang katwiran ko diyan kapag nahanap mo na talaga 'yong the one, puwede mo nang gawin 'yan, 'yong magpakasal,” he smiled.
Ruru, who is linked to rumored girlfriend and fellow Kapuso Bianca Umali, however, is focused on his goals and achieving his dreams.
Needless to say, marriage can wait in the meantime as far as Ruru is concerned.
Ruru mentioned wanting to accomplish things as a single man first before entering into a long-term commitment with a loved one.
So right now, focused pa ako sa aking craft [as an actor].”
Ashley Rivera

At 29, Ashley said she's at the stage where most of her friends are either married or engaged already.
Ashley also wants to accomplish her goals first before entertaining thoughts of settling down.

“I mean gusto ko in the future siguro. Siyempre gusto ko magkaroon ng sarili kong family pero sa ngayon gusto ko muna ispoil 'yong sarili ko and gusto ko ispoil 'yong una kong pamilya, which is mom and 'yong kapatid ko,” she continued.
At the moment, Arra confessed still struggling to grasp the idea of getting married. Not that she's against the idea, she just doesn't see herself settling down this early.
“Sa ngayon questionable pa siya,” she said.
“Pero alam ko in the future gusto ko siya mangyari kasi gusto ko magkaroon ng pamilya.”

“I believe in the concept of marriage. I understand naman na ang daming nagse-scond guess about marriage because you see people get married then out of nowhere they get separated or divorced and it sets up for a messy environment not just for them pero also if they have kids. We see a lot of that nowadays,” Gil thoughtfully replied.
Gil said he's lucky to have grown up in an intact family and with loving parents as role models on what a marriage should be.
“For them to be able to make their marriage work after how many years, after how many kids, and to see that way they build this home for us children. To see the partnership that they have is something that I want to experience in the future,” he added.
“'Di naman ako nagmamadali, wala naman parang certain time limit for that. I'll just let it happen but one thing is for sure, I know in the future I want to be married. I want to start a family and I want to build a home just like my father and my mother did.”
