Kapuso actress Shaira Diaz is set to star in the drama mini-series I Can See You Season 2's first offering, “On My Way to You” along with Kapuso hunk Ruru Madrid.

On social media, Shaira has been posting several behind-the-scenes photos from their lock-in taping.

In one of her posts, Shaira wrote, “This is it! I'm so happy and proud to be part of this project! From cast to production and crew, ang ganda at gagaling!

“Napaka ganda ng istorya, execution, cinematography, shots and lines! Binabasa ko pa lang 'yung script, sumasakit at kinikilig na 'yung puso ko.”

The actress also commended the creative team behind the highly-anticipated mini-series.

“Ang galing ng creatives and writers ng 'On My Way To You' at syempre ang aming director. Kaya pala natin!

“Kaya sobrang excited ako na mapanood ninyo ang panibagong offering na 'to ng GMA Netwok. Nakaka-proud! Promise! Sa March 22 na po, 'I Can See You Season 2: On My Way to You',” she added.

It seems that it's not only Shaira who rejoices on the milestone as her fellow celebrities have sent their well-wishes for her, too.

In the said post, veteran and renowned actress Sylvia Sanchez left a heartfelt congratulatory note, praising Shaira's talent in acting.

The comment reads: “Congrats 'nak. Deserve mo 'yan kasi magaling ka.”

Shaira's long-time boyfriend Edgar Allan Guzman lauded her as well as the show nears its launch.

In the series, she will portray the role of Raki, a viral runaway bride who escaped to a remote mountainous area to steer away from all the bashings she receives online.

There she meets Jerrick, played by Ruru, the groom who has been jilted at the altar of her supposed-to-be wife.

Directed by award-winning director Mark Reyes, joining the cast of “On My Way to You” are Arra San Agustin, Gil Cuerva, Malou de Guzman, and Richard Yap.
