Being a kid of celebrities mostly means that they become celebrities themselves and while that's not always the case, some kids take it into their own hands to become one. Take for example Tanya Ramos, who auditioned for Sparkle Artist Center without her dad, Wendell Ramos' knowledge.

In an interview with Kapuso PR Girl, Tanya revealed why she auditioned for GMA's talent agency and how her dad reacted to it.

She revealed that it was during the height of the pandemic when she decided to audition. Tanya said that she was doing online school at the time and was not going out for anything.

“Sabi ko, why not try to audition for fun lang kasi if it's for me, it's for me. If it's not, then it's fine. At least I know that I tried,” she said.

She also revealed that she did not tell any of the panelists that she's related to anyone in the industry.

“Siguro that time, I wanted to achieve something by myself na rin,” she added.

She then said that she did not expect to receive the email that she got in Sparkle and recently told her dad about it.

“He was proud of me and he was looking at me, smiling, parang giving me the look na parang 'I know you could do it,'” she said.

She also revealed that they used to let their dad know of their plan to get advice and guidance.

She then thanked her dad for his support of her new venture with Sparkle.

“Super thankful lang ako sa dad ko kasi without him, me and my brother wouldn't be able to make it,” she added.

Tanya said that she auditioned for Sparkle about a year ago and the 15-year-old expressed her thanks for the blessing and how overwhelmed she is for starting her journey.

In an interview last April, she also revealed that it was her dad who influenced her to enter showbiz, but reminded her that it's still her decision.
