Masakit para kay Gladys Reyes na hindi man lang niya mabisita ang kanyang tatay na kasalukuyang nagpapagaling sa ospital. Basahin ang dahilan DITO:
Bumuhos ang dasal para sa pamilya ng primera kontrabida na si Gladys Reyes, matapos nito inanunsyo sa social media na isinugod ang kanyang amang si Sonny sa ospital.
Nakumpirma ng mga doktor na tinamaan ng heart attack ang kanyang magulang.
Ano ba ang heart attack?
Ayon sa mayoclinic.org, heart attack occurs when the flow of blood to the heart is blocked. The blockage is most often a buildup of fat, cholesterol and other substances, which form a plaque in the arteries that feed the heart (coronary arteries).
Sa Instagram post ni Gladys kahapon, January 12, ikinuwento nito ang mga nangyari sa kanyang ama bago nila dinala ito sa ospital.
“God is good.. Yesterday was challenging, my papa had a severe chest pain, my sister rushed him to the hospital, we just followed. Thanks to our dear God, my father was able to recover, as if nothing happened.
“But the doctors confirmed, he had an attack. He's still confined for some tests and had another chest pain again 2am this morning.”
Umamin si Gladys na nakakalungkot na hindi nila madalaw ang kanilang tatay dahil sa mahigpit na COVID-19 protocols.
Doble ang pasakit na ito para sa Kapuso actress, dahil isa siyang “Papa's girl.”
Paliwanag niya, “I am a certified Papa's girl and what saddens me is that we are not allowed to visit him, according to the hospital rules, due to pandemic.
“Kept telling him, his grandchildren need him, to help us, guide them. To spend more bonding moments with him. Praying for his total recovery. Grateful to my husband, cousins and sister for being with me yesterday.”
Maraming kaibigan ni Gladys sa showbiz ang nagpakita ng suporta, isa na diyan ang kanyang bestfriend na si Judy Ann Santos.

Sinegundahan naman ito ni Angelu, “Praying for Daddy's complete recovery in Jesus' name.”
Kamakailan, muling nagbigay ng update ang Kapuso kontrabida star tungkol sa lagay ng kanyang ama nitong Biyernes, January 15.
Sa Instagram post ni Gladys, sinabi nito na sasailalim ang kanyang Tatay Sonny sa angiogram.
Ayon sa medicalnewstoday.com, an angiogram is an X-ray of the blood vessels, which can provide images of the blood vessels in many different organs.
Makakatulong ito para ma-determine ng doktor ang kundisyon na nakaka-apekto sa heart, brain, arms, o legs ng isang pasyente.
Saad ni Gladys, “Today is my papa's angiogram, not just an ordinary angio, though it has benefits but it also has risks most specially the dye that might affect his kidney. [We] are praying 'wag naman.
“I have faith. God is in control.”
On the way to recovery
Naging sandigan ni Gladys Reyes ang kanyang pananampalataya sa pagsubok na pinagdaanan ng kanyang ama.
Sa huli, naging maayos na ang lagay ng kanyang ama matapos sumailalim sa angioplasty procedure, base sa Instagram post ng aktress noong January 15.
Nakalabas na rin ng ospital ang kanyang Daddy Sonny kahapon, January 18, kung kailan ipinagdiriwang ng magulang ni Gladys ang kanilang wedding anniversary.
Sabi niya sa kanyang post, “Today, January 18 is the wedding anniversary of my mama and papa. What a great gift, my papa can now go home after his successful angioplasty 3 days ago.
“Thank you to my family, friends and everyone who prayed for my papa. He is now on his way to full recovery.
“To his doctors, Dr. Juanito Rodulfo his cardiologist, Dr. Remus Batilaran and his team, Dr. Miranda, his nephrologist Dr. Eric Santiago and the rest of his doctors. To the nurses who took good care of him in the telemetry and CathLab”
Ikinasal si Gladys kay Christopher Roxas noong 2004 at mayroon na silang apat na anak na sina Gian Christopher, Gianna Aquisha, Grant Carlin, and Gavin-Cale.
Ginanap naman noong January 23, 2018 ang star-studded renewal of vows nilang dalawa sa Fernwood Gardens Tagaytay.
