Seasoned actress Teresa Loyzaga to the late 'La Primera Contravida' Cherie Gil: “You will be missed, greatly. You will never be forgotten.”
Versatile star Teresa Loyzaga paid tribute to her dear friend, the late actress Cherie Gil, who passed away on August 5.
As seen in her latest Instagram post, the veteran actress shared a photo with the “La Primera Contravida” and wrote a message, saying, “THE ONE AND ONLY!!
“Forever SISTER from a different mother. My idol. My friend. Love you sis! Rest easy.”
She continued, “You will be missed, greatly. You will never be forgotten. Deepest condolences to the Eigenmann family.”
Aside from Teresa, many showbiz personalities also mourned the death of the seasoned actress and penned emotional messages for her on social media.
According to Cherie's son, Raphael Eigenmann Rogoff, the late actress was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in October 2021.
Teresa Loyzaga currently stars as Rina in Return To Paradise, shown from Monday to Friday at 3:25 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime.
