
Mario Maurer fans, get ready because the Thai actor has confirmed that he is, indeed, flying to the Philippines come June for a special fan meet.
On Tuesday afternoon, February 25, the Crazy Little Thing Called Love actor said he will be holding his first fan meeting in the country at the Skydome in SM North EDSA come June 28th.
He wrote, “Mabuhay! Ako po si Mario Maurer and I'm so glad to announce that I'll be having my first official solo fan meeting in Manila!
“You've known me from my characters like “Tong” from Love of Siam, “Mak” of Pee Mak, “Marcus Hanson” of Suddenly It's Magic, and I know all of you fell in love with “P'Shone” of Crazy Little Thing Called Love.
“This coming 28th of June, I'll get to meet everyone in FIRST LOVE: Mario Maurer 1st Live and Meet in Manila 2020, 6 PM at the SM Skydome.
“This is very exciting for me because, finally, I will be seeing all the lovely faces of my dearest fans from the Philippines.”
Tickets will be available starting March 6, 2020, at 10:00 am and the event is produced by Wish Us Luck, a Thai production company based in the Philippines.
Mario Maurer is a German-Thai actor and model, born to a German father and a Thai-Chinese mother.
He became known for his roles in Love of Siam, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and PeeMak, one of Thailand's highest-grossing films of all time.
He has been to the Philippines numerous times.
In 2017, Mario flew in with Korean singer Sandara Park as an endorser for a known shampoo brand.
