After closing its café on August 23, 2020, now the Chocolate Kiss Cake Shop is also about to bid farewell to its patrons for good.

The sad news was announced on social media on June 7, Monday.

According to the farewell note, creating Chocolate Kiss cakes began as a hobby for its founders.

It eventually grew into “a modest side-business come Christmas time.”

Part of the Chocolate Kiss Cake Shop's announcement reads, “No one planned for this “side-line” to build its own Commissary, nor grow into a 23-year old Café.

“How far it has come; how much we've experienced!

“Now the ride is almost over, and we're counting down to our last day of selling cakes on June 22.”

They also explained why they have unfortunately decided on also closing the cake shop permanently.

“The past year of navigating through the lockdowns was quite exciting, but sadly, not sustainable, which has prompted us to wind things down…”

The Chocolate Kiss Cakes Shop also thanked all their loyal customers throughout the years.

“In behalf of everyone who was part of The Chocolate Kiss family, we thank you for making us part of your celebrations, and your lives.

“We've built so many good memories over the years, and we only want to leave you with happy thoughts ️”

To those who want to enjoy their favorite Chocolate Kiss cakes, you may do so up until their last day, June 22.

You can order from their website with at least two days lead notice.

“Still selling your favorites up to the last day, and maybe even whipping up a few limited edition and seasonal goodies in the line-up (to finish up our ingredients).”
