The Miss Philippines organization said that Ahtisa Manalo is now competing in the award's 'first station.'
There's another task for Filipino pageant fans in the coming days as Filipina beauty Ahtisa Manalo once again needs their votes.
In one of the more recent posts on their official Instagram account, the Miss Philippines organization called on pageant fans to vote for Ahtisa in the “first station” of the Miss Cosmo pageant's People's Choice Awards.
The post includes a link to where fans can cast their vote for Ahtisa. The organization also shared that the voting for the Cosmo People's Choice Awards is up until September 12.
This new call for votes comes after Ahtisa was able to recently achieve a voting milestone, crossing the 1 million voting mark on the Miss Cosmo Social Ambassador voting challenge. In the caption to the post, the organization said that passing the milestone was a testament to the power of “Filipino Bayanihan Voting”.
The Miss Philippines had earlier called on Filipino pageant fans to vote for Ahtisa, explaining that the winner of the round of voting will proceed to the next round where the Cosmo Social Ambassador winner will be picked.
The Miss Philippines called on Filipino pageant fans to help Ahtisa cross the 1 million mark at the start of this month.
Voting for the Social Ambassador award is still ongoing, up until September 20, 2024.
Ahtisa was named the country's Miss Cosmo Philippines representative last May during the Miss Universe Philippines pageant. Chelsea Manalo won the Miss Universe Philippines crown, while the Miss Supranational Philippines crown was awarded to Tarah Valencia. Alexie Mae Brooks was named Miss Eco International Philippines while Cyrille Payumo was named Miss Charm Philippines.
Three months ago, Ahtisa visited Vietnam to attend the launch of the Miss Cosmo pageant, wearing a monochrome black outfit and posing with her luggage upon arrival.
The Miss Cosmo pageant will hold its coronation night on October 5, 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
