'Voltes V: Legacy' received high praise from the TOEI Company through director of planning and production Shin-ichiro Shirakura.
The much-loved megaseries Voltes V: Legacy is back!
Due to popular demand, the series will have its rerun on GMA Afternoon Prime. This new is in response to many requests for an earlier airing so that kids can watch it during their summer break.
Young viewers will surely be amazed by exciting robot fight scenes rendered by award-winning graphics.
Voltes V: Legacy actually received high praise from the TOEI Company, the original producer of the iconic Voltes V anime.
According to TOEI Company director of planning and production Shin-ichiro Shirakura, they were impressed by what they saw from the first episode of the series and the movie version which condensed selected scenes for several episodes.
"In the realm of robot-themed shows, Japan is renowned for its productivity, and the United States, exemplified by Pacific Rim, has produced numerous iconic robot titles. Your production of Voltes V: Legacy in the Philippines stands out not only for its impressive robot dynamics but also its meticulously detailed cockpit scenes," he said.
He also praised the show's cast for their stellar acting.
"I was particularly captivated by the authentic atmosphere fostered by the exceptionally talented cast members as they adeptly operated these machines, delivering visually stunning and crystal-clear quality," Shirakura shared.
He also hopes that Voltes V: Legacy will garner viewers from all over the globe.
"While the original title, Voltes V, hails from Japanese animation, we at TOEI recognize and deeply appreciate the passion and dedication exhibited by your 100% Filipino staff. Our aspiration is to collaborate closely with our Philippine partners and introduce Voltes V: Legacy to a global audience," he explained.
Voltes V: Legacy tells the story of brothers Steve, Big Bert, and Little John Armstrong, and their friends Jamie Robinson and Mark Gordon, who fight and protect the world from humanoid aliens called the Boazanians and their beastfighters.
The show stars Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho as the Voltes V team.
Voltes V: Legacy is a production from the GMA Entertainment Group, in collaboration with Telesuccess Productions and TOEI Company.
