'Voltes V: Legacy' wins two national awards at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2023

Voltes V: Legacy continues to receive accolades after it was recognized anew by an international organization.
The groundbreaking GMA series won two national awards at the Asian Academy Creative Awards--Best Animated Program or Series (2D or 3D) and Best Visual or Special FX in TV Series or Feature Film.
The announcement of the national winners took place virtually through the Singapore-based award-giving body's Facebook page last Thursday, September 28.
On Instagram, Voltes V: Legacy director Mark Reyes expressed his excitement towards the show's new milestone.
Voltes V: Legacy is produced by GMA Network, in collaboration with Telesuccess Productions and TOEI Company.
Aired from May 8, 2023 to September 8, 2023, the action-packed drama is GMA's adaptation of the iconic '70s Japanese anime, Voltes V.
Voltes V: Legacy was headlined by Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho, playing the Voltes V team.
Last July, the show participated at the San Diego Comic-Con in partnership with Dogu Publishing.
This was the first time a local TV program got invited to the international comic book convention and became a panel at the prestigious pop culture event.
