Tom Holland may have just put months of speculation to rest after seemingly confirming that he and longtime partner Zendaya are already married.
The British actor, best known for portraying Spider-Man on the big screen, spoke to Esquire about a series of AI-generated wedding photos that recently circulated online and sparked widespread discussion among fans.
According to Tom, the fake images briefly caused confusion within his own family.
He shared that his grandmother was momentarily upset after seeing the photos because she believed she had not been invited to the wedding.
When asked if he had to reassure any other relatives, Tom paused before responding, “No, because they were all there.”
The actor quickly shut down further questions about the matter, adding, “That's all you'll get on that.”
Rumors about the couple's wedding have intensified in recent months. Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, previously fueled speculation when he told Access Hollywood in March that “the wedding has already happened.”
While neither Tom nor Zendaya had publicly confirmed the reports at the time, fans continued to speculate following the pair's engagement, which was reported in December 2024.
Despite keeping details of their relationship private, Tom opened up about the strong foundation he shares with Zendaya.
“Our business can present very stressful situations and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he said.
The actor added that they are able to support one another in ways few people can understand because they both navigate the pressures of life in the spotlight.
“So, for me, I found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I have ever been when I'm with her,” Tom said. “I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever.”
Tom and Zendaya first met while working on Spider-Man: Homecoming, where she was cast as MJ opposite Peter Parker.
The couple has since become one of Hollywood's most beloved pairs, although they have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye.
Tom is set to return as the web-slinging superhero in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is scheduled for release later this year. Meanwhile, Zendaya recently starred in The Drama along with Robert Pattinson.
