Tom Rodriguez is one lucky guy who will soon tie the knot with one of the most talented actresses in showbiz, Carla Abellana.

After surprising everyone that they already engaged in October 2020, the Kapuso couple are now busy preparing for their wedding later this year.

This is despite their hectic schedule--Tom is currently taping a primetime series titled The World Between Us, starring Asia's Multimedia star Alden Richards and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

Carla, on the other hand, is also under lock-in taping for the upcoming series To Have and To Hold with Rocco Nacino and Max Collins.

Although they are apart from now, Tom is making sure that his future wife feels special.

The actor got the attention of netizens with his funny comment to Carla's candid photo on Instagram.

Tom quipped, “Huwaaaaaw namaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!!!! MADAAAAAAM PRENO PLEASE!!!!!!! Baka sumabog puso ko! Wait lang! September pa tayo magkikita.”

In a recent interview with 24 Oras, Tom shared how they are preparing for their upcoming wedding in October in Tagaytay.

He told Lhar Santiago on "Chika Minute," “Support ako, siyempre, para may participation. 'Pag kailangan ng mga decision na which one is better, [points with his finger] here, here, here these choices… Matapang na ako dun, actually this mas maganda ito [laughs].”

Tom added, “Carla envision kung ano si Carla, 'yung ano lang simple and yet there's an elegance to it--a dreaminess to it, creaminess to it, naks!.”
