GMANetwork.com sat down with
My Husband's Lover star, Tom Rodriguez, for an exclusive interview. Find out what he has to say about his first love.

On the set of the prime time hit series,
My Husband’s Lover, Tom Rodriguez greeted GMANetwork.com in high spirits.
“Sinuwerte ako, may time pa ako maglaro ng konti sa iPad at magbasa ng script. Good day!”
We asked the new Kapuso actor what keeps him busy when he is not acting in front of the cameras. “Drawing, kasi iyon talaga iyong first love ko. Pagdra-drawing at pagpipinta.”
He expounded that he's not just into digital art but also loves to use the traditional medium when expressing himself through art.
“Before I used to do traditional artwork like charcoals, stencils, oils, water colors and acrylics. When I was in college, I wanted to be an illustrator and a conceptual artist. [Now] it became a standard na ang ginagamit is digital medium. So, nagtransfer ako sa ganuong klase ng medium,” he added.
Showing dedication to his craft, he takes advantage of every opportunity do his art, “So hanggang ngayon, especially pag dito sa taping sa set na medyo busy and on the go sa digital na lang ako nagdra-drawing para at least may time pa. So mga collections ko, naka-save sa computer.”
Aside from his digital art, he also admitted that he enjoys playing console games. “Right now, I’m playing
The Last Of Us by Naughty Dogs sa PS3. Inaabangan ko iyong PS4. I’m playing right now
Far Cry 3 by Shock Infinite.
The Devil May Cry, ang dami eh,” he shared.
As techie as he may seem, he admits he still enjoys and plays traditional board games. “Iyong mga classic board games like
Dungeons and Dragons, hilig ko rin.
Battlestar Galactica,
Arabian Nights,
Talisman, kung ano-ano lang. It’s a board game shared story. May shared story na kayo lahat naglalaro. You guys are trying to achieve the same goal, 'yung di kayo naglalaban against each other. “
