D4vd arrested on suspicion of killing 14-year-old girl found decaying in Tesla
American rap star D4vd has been arrested on suspicion of killing a 14-year-old girl whose remains were discovered in a Tesla registered to his name last year.
According to CNN, Los Angeles police are holding D4vd, whose legal name is David Burke, without bail.
The 21-year-old rapper has been under investigation for the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose decaying body was found in an abandoned Tesla on September 8 in Hollywood Hills. She was reported missing in 2024, only 13 years old at the time.
Reports previously said her body was found in pieces, wrapped in a plastic sheet in the electric vehicle's front luggage compartment.
TMZ said its reporters had spoken to Celeste's mother, who said her daughter had a boyfriend named David.
After the initial discovery of the victim's remains hit headlines, D4vd continued his world tour in promotion of his new album. —JCB, GMA News
