Miss World Philippines Tracy Maureen Perez is headed back to the Miss World stage as the pageant is set to start on March 17.
Miss World Philippines Tracy Maureen Perez just has a little over a week before the competition starts up for the Miss World pageant, but she's taking what time she has to thank the supporters who have helped her get to where she is now.
In her latest post on her Instagram account, Tracy put up multiple pictures of her in a blue dress and wearing the Miss World Philippines crown. In the post's caption, Tracy expressed her amazement and gratitude at being given a second send-off party as well as for the continued love and support she has been receiving for her Miss World campaign.
The send-off is just the latest development in Tracy's journey as she goes back to the Miss World stage. The pageant is bouncing back after a number of COVID-19 infections forced it to postpone its initial staging last year.
Aside from the party, Tracy's Miss World website was launched late in February, with Tracy announcing it on her Instagram account.
In the post, Tracy said she was involved with setting up the website and making its content, squeezing work on it in between work schedules.
“Have been on this for quite a while now -- in between work schedules, personally making the content, the editing, the writing, tweaking the backend, figuring out the ins and outs of creating my own website through the platform given, I'm ecstatic that I get this opportunity to share with all of you my perspective of things and that it helped light up my passion for writing once again!” she wrote.
Tracy's website launch was already teased earlier in her post asking her Instagram followers to relive her Miss World Philippines experience.
Once coronation night begins on March 17, Tracy will be competing as one of the pageant's Top 40 contestants. The Miss World Organization cited Tracy's victory in its head to head competition, as well as her “Beauty with a Purpose” video making it to the Top 6 alongside England, India, Kenya, South Africa, and the United States, as reasons for her placement.
