Composer recovers from COVID-19 and sings heartwarming song with hospital frontliners
Musician Arnel de Pano was among the COVID-19 patients confined in the Marikina Valley Medical Center. Fortunately, he recovered from the coronavirus and right before leaving the hospital, de Pano sang with the healthcare frontliners from the hospital.
A viral video was posted online by Charmer Ibones Pasa, a nurse from the said hospital. The video shows de Pano wearing a face mask as he sang with healthcare
workers in personal protective equipment (PPE). They sang a heartwarming version of the worship song "Lead Me Lord" originally sang by Basil Valdes.
As of April 12, the Department of Health has reported 4,648 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 197 recoveries, and 297 deaths from the disease.
The Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine has been extended until April 30.
