Former child star and now mom, Trina Legaspi-Jarina or more popularly known as Hopia poured her emotions as she marked the first month of her daughter Baby Kaela.

Mommy Trina gave birth to her first child with non-showbiz husband Ryan Jarina back in March.

In her Instagram post, she shared some adorable photos with Kaela, who was dressed up as Minnie Mouse.

She also then talked about the struggles of being a first-time parent and the challenges of breastfeeding her baby.

“After a month, we're so happy that Kaela is gaining weight from exclusively breastfeeding! Yay!”, Hopia continued, “Sa loob ng isang buwan, I've experienced a whirlwind of emotions. Ilang beses ako umiyak. Akala ko 'nung una wala akong masyadong milk (I've experienced postpartum dahil doon) pero sobrang blessed ko dahil maraming tumutulong at nakakaintindi ng nararamdaman ko, I'm thankful for the endless support and reassurance from my family (daddy, mommy, ate @rrlegaspi913, ditse @kim_ls7 and kuya mark) my husband @ryan_jarina sa pag-iintindi sa akin and my cousin ate @mang_ellaine sa pag-recommend ng mga dapat gawin! Sabi nga nila, it takes a village to raise a child.

The celebrity mom added, “Yes, lahat ng pwedeng gawin ginawa ko, lots of patience and determination talaga! Happy si Ryan kasi nakakatipid kaya bumabawi siya in other ways, siya naman ang naghehele at nagpapatulog kay baby. Hehe!”

Before ending her post, Mommy Trina also has these words of encouragement for her fellow “padede” (breastfeeding) moms out there.

“Kaya sa mga padede moms at sa mga nakaka-experience ng postpartum, mahirap po talaga sa umpisa pero laban lang po tayo kay baby!”

Trina and Ryan got engaged in the middle of the pandemic in December 2020 after six years of being in a relationship.

Their first wedding happened in 2021 and a year later, they exchanged “I Do's” again at Christ the King church in November 2022.
