Actress-comedienne Tuesday Vargas is a certified plant enthusiast and her love for plants has inspired her to start her very own plant business.
And as the demand for plants increased, thanks in part to that urban gardening idea that has already reached the awareness of Filipinos, Tuesday is just happy that people are now rekindling their relationship with Mother Earth.

In an Instagram post, Tuesday expressed her gratitude towards the indoor plant hype, which she thinks has reached its peak.
“As an online seller before being an entrepreneur, I am a plant enthusiast first. I never stop learning and improving on my skills as a gardener before focusing on the economics of it all,” she said.
Since planting is becoming more popular these days, Tuesday said plants' prices have greatly soared as well.
“Though saddened by the sudden surge in plant prices, I think this heightened public awareness and interest for growing and cultivating plants has a lot of positive effects on society.
“Rather than focusing on selfish wants, we are now rekindling our relationship with the earth and throwing our blanket compassion on all things living since we all started our own green spaces at home,” she continued.

The actress also added that planting has an enormous positive effect on oneself in terms of health and overall wellbeing.
“We also sleep early and wake up early, stick to a watering and pruning schedule and are now more observant because we are on the look-out for pests that might invade our plant babies.
“This routine keeps us sane, gives us a sense of purpose and renews our faith in our capabilities.
"I am grateful for new friends I have found in the plant community, both buyers and fellow sellers have strengthened my resolve that those who love plants generally are kind and appreciative individuals,” she added.
She then thanked her clients-turned friends in the plant community.
“Thank you for adopting my babies, for allowing me to adopt yours and for constantly filling my feed with your beautiful homes filled with greenery.
“I guess this post is about appreciation mainly because my personal page has been filled with showbiz gossip and charged political debates.
“I am thankful for the solace I've found in this hobby turned business and I hope everyone continues to support each other even if the hype has reached its peak and will eventually falter,” she said.
Tuesday is just one of many celebrities who are now certified 'plantitos' and 'plantitas.'
Meanwhile, Tuesday is not just happy with her booming plant business as her heart has also found its rightful place in her partner Joseph Puducay.
Joseph is a former contestant of GMA's To The Top contest.
