During Doc Willie Ong's guest appearance on 'Tunay na Buhay,” he shared little-known stories about his life before becoming a famous YouTuber and doctor.

One of the first things he revealed to host Pia Arcangel is that he has been waving his professional fee for a long time now.

Doc Willie said, “Actually, matagal na akong walang private patients.

He also revealed that since he was a child he has made it a mission to help those in need.

“Noong 17 years old ako, meron kaming time capsule sa high school.

Another big revelation that Doc Willie made was that his parents originally didn't want him to pursue a career in medicine.

“Actually, siyempre 'pag bata ka, ayaw nila. Mas gusto nila sa business, 'di ba?

“Kasi may negosyo na kami, tuloy-tuloy. Mabilis kumita sa negosyo, papalakihin, anak kang lalaki.”

He said this affected him emotionally when he was still a medical student.

Despite this, he was able to finish Cardiology, Public Health and Internal Medicine and went on to become one of the most well-known doctors in the country.

Doc Willie also imparted some of the challenges that come with being a doctor.

The famous YouTuber-doctor also shared the secret to his successful vlogs.
