
Vic Sotto and Maja Salvador are set to deliver a ton of laughter soon on weekend primetime through the newest comedy program titled Open 24/7.
Its story is about Boss E.Z. (played by Vic), a reluctant and socially awkward guy who will find himself in charge of a convenience store.
Vic has a long-list of multi-awarded sitcoms from Okay Ka, Fairy Ko (1987), 1 for 3 (1997), and Daddy Di Do Du (2001). He also showcased his brilliance in comedy in Vampire ang Daddy Ko (2013), Hay, Bahay! (2016), and his last comedy show Daddy's Gurl, which got him a Best Comedy Actor award from the 34th Star Awards for Television.
This is just one of the accolades the comedy actor has achieved as a TV host, singer, producer. He has also proven himself many times as a Box Office King.
Meanwhile, Vic's co-star, the equally talented artist, Maja, will be starring in her first-ever Kapuso show this year.
Aside from being a great dancer and reliable TV host, she has also built a reputation as a bankable actress. In 2006, she received a Breakthrough Performance by Actress award from the Golden Screen Awards for her role in Sukob. In 2011, she was hailed as best actress by the Film Academy of the Philippines and Gawad Urian for the title role in Thelma. Maja also bagged the German Moreno Youth Achievement Award at the 55th FAMAS Awards and won several times in the PMPC Star Awards for TV and movie categories.
Joining Vic and Maja in Open 24/7, is superstar comedian and former StarStruck' judge Jose Manalo. This marks the return of Jose and Vic's tandem in a sitcom. Their last comedy show together was Hay, Bahay!, which also featured Comedy Concert Queen Aiai Delas Alas, Oyo Sotto and his wife, Kristine Hermosa.
The newest sitcom will also feature the brightest young talents of Sparkle GMA Artist Center led by Sparkle Sweethearts Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay, who were last seen in the primetime series Luv Is: Caught in his Arms.
Adding more fun in Open 24/7 are singer-actress Riel Lomadilla, Sparkada heartthrob Anjay Anson, and Kapuso hotties Kimson Tan, Bruce Roeland, and Abed Green.
