Vice Ganda: "Once and for all, let's normalize me being called sir.”

Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda recently addressed the topic of pronouns during an episode of It's Showtime. Clearing the air, the actor-TV host said that being addressed as “sir” is perfectly fine with him.

“Actually, once and for all, let's normalize me being called sir,” he said, explaining that it shouldn't be made into a joke. “Kasi, okay lang naman sakin ang sir. Normal lang 'yun, it's okay to be a sir.”

Vice also emphasized that he's comfortable being called either “sir” or “ma'am.” “Pwede rin akong ma'am, ha? Okay din ako sa ma'am. Okay din ako sa sir, okay din naman ako sa ma'am,” he added.

The statement highlights Vice's openness and humor while reinforcing respect for his chosen identity, whether addressed as “sir” or “ma'am.”

Vice Ganda is also set to appear in the long-running comedy show Bubble Gang. On Tuesday, a Bubble Gang executive confirmed to GMA News Online that It's Showtime host Vice Ganda is indeed set to appear as a guest on the country's longest-running comedy show.
