Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto received the scrub suit from the COVID-19 referral facility doctors.
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto proudly wore a scrub suit to work to show his appreciation to the frontliners battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vico met with the doctors from the COVID-19 referral facility in his constituent city last week, and he was gifted with a scrub suit.
He shared snaps from this meeting on Twitter and wrote, “With our super energetic doctors from the Pasig Covid Referral Facility. They gave me my own set of scrubs. Overall, their team has been getting really good feedback from our patients!”

Almost a week since his post, Vico showed up at work wearing what he received.
He began his caption in jest, saying, “I've always wanted to become a doctor... [ever since our Covid Referral Facility doctors gave me my own pair of scrubs. Thanks docs!]
“As promised, suot ko siya kaninang Monday Morning Updates natin.”
Vico then took the chance to express his admiration for the frontliners.
He continued, “Sa lahat ng mga trabaho ngayong pandemya, nasa kanila ang pinaka mahihirap. Kaya pag napapagod din ako, iniisip ko na mas pagod pa silang 12++ hrs nakatayo sa init ng PPE.”
Vico marked his first anniversary as the mayor of Pasig City in June.
