Has being cooped up indoors for the past year and several months have you yearning for the great outdoors? Would you like to travel the world without having to worry about travel arrangements? Then this cruise from Royal Caribbean International might be for you.
Dubbed as the Ultimate World Cruise and to be taken on the Serenade of the Seas, the cruise offered by the company will take passengers on a 274-night trip to visit 65 countries and give them the opportunity to see the 11 wonders of the world.
Divided into four segments -- Round the Horn: Americas and Antarctica, Wonder of Asia and the Pacific, Middle East Wonders and Marvels of the Mediterranean, and Capitals of Culture -- the cruise will literally visit all seven continents and last from December 10, 2023 to September 10, 2024.
The wonders of the world that passengers will be visiting include the Great Wall of China, the Iguazú Falls in Argentina, Petra in Jordan, Peru's Machu Picchu, and Brazil's Christ the Redeemer. Passengers will also get to the Great Pyramid of Giza, Chichén-Itzá in Mexico, Turkey's Temple of Artemis, The Colosseum, the Taj Mahal, and the Great Barrier Reef.

If a getaway that spans almost a full year is too much of a commitment, the company also offers passengers an option to just take one or two of the cruise's four segments.
Deciding to make the yearlong commitment, however, wouldn't be so bad considering the amenities available on the Serenade of the Seas. Aside from the main dining room, the ship also has a range of cuisines served in seven restaurants like Izumi and Giovanni's Italian Kitchen.
The ship also has a mini-golf green and an arcade, as well as a pool deck, eight bars and lounges, and a theater hosting original productions.
If all of this sounds like something you'd be interested in, be ready to pony up some serious cash on October 27 when bookings begin. Prices for the cruise start at $61,000 per person. On the higher end of the bracket is the $112,000 per person for those who want to stay in a junior suite.
