Support your favorite Kapuso family. The Eigenmanns, Padillas, and Magalonas are all vying for the Celebrity Family of the Year award at the Yahoo Celebrity Awards.

Not that they have anything else to prove, the Magalona, Eigenmann and Padilla families are on a continuous journey of entertaining audiences and honing their craft.

Because of their unmatched passion and stellar performances, the artists from these families have proven that they indeed deserve each pedestal that they’re put on.
 


Magalona family
The patriarch of the Magalona family has conquered both the OPM industry and the hearts of the Filipinos. The late Master Rapper Francis Magalona has left a legacy with his memorable songs and unbelievable passion. Following his footsteps, his children also joined showbiz. Acting, hosting, singing – name it and the Magalona kids probably have a knack for it.
 
The sisters Maxene and Saab are known for the key antagonistic roles they’ve portrayed in several Kapuso shows. Maxine effectively annoyed viewers in Mga Basang Sisiw, Indio, Fathfully and My Lover, My Wife, among others.

Saab, on the other hand, has proven her acting prowess in Koreana, Captain Barbell, My Beloved and Adarna.
 
Their brothers Elmo, Frank and Arkin have also won their fair share of hearts. Elmo, who starred in the recently concluded Villa Quintana is a crowd favorite. He catches the attention of the ladies as he is both a skilled actor and a talented singer. Frank, meanwhile, was part of the star-studded cast of Rhodora X, while the young Arkin hopes to make music like his dad.
 


Padilla family
If the earlier generation of the Padilla family showed that they excel in action, the new ones prove that their strengths include much more. Kylie, Bela and RJ all have their unique charm, but collectively show that they have what it takes to be a Padilla.
 
Kylie recently starred in Adarna, where Geoff Eigenmann, Benjamin Alves and Mikael Daez, tried to win her affection. She is also a regular performer in the variety show Sunday All Stars. Her cousin Bela has also been part of over a dozen GMA shows while RJ is now taking on a new challenge as he currently plays the love interest of Gabby Eigenmann’s character in Dading.
 


Eigenmann family
The family of the Eigenmanns have proven time and again that they could be effective directors, protagonists and antagonists.
 
Born in a family of performers, Michael de Mesa has helped established their clan in the industry. Most recently, he was seen in the GMA Afternoon Prime soap Innamorata. His ex-wife Gina Alajar is also an institution in show business as she is a FAMAS and Gawad Urian Award winner and a celebrated actress and director.
 
Their children Geoff and Ryan are also loyal Kapuso stars. Geoff was last seen in Adarna while Ryan is part of the current afternoon drama The Half Sisters. Their cousin Gabby, meanwhile, recently bagged the title role in Dading. Gabby’s half-brother Sid Lucero, on the other hand, stars in the GMA Telebabad show My Destiny.
 
These three clans have not only shown their ability to entertain, but have also exhibited the unconditional love and support within a family.
