Kapuso celebrities and personalities are once again nominated at the 5th RAWR Awards which will honor the best and the brightest in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Kapuso celebrities and personalities are once again nominated at the 5th RAWR Awards which will honor the best and the brightest in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Leading the list is Cain at Abel with five nominations namely, Bida of the Year for Dingdong Dantes, Kontrabida of the Year for Dennis Trillo, Actor of the Year for both actors, and Bibo Award for child star Euwenn Aleta.

Aside from Dingdong and Dennis, Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards was also nominated under the Actor of the Year category together with Ken Chan for his portrayal of Boyet in My Special Tatay.

Kapuso Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado is nominated for Actress of the Year for her role in the rom-com series Love You Two. She's up against Yasmien Kurdi, Max Collins, Bianca Umali, Rita Daniela, and Kris Bernal for the same category.

Betting for Pak na Pak na Comedian awards are multi-awarded comedian Michael V. for Pepito Manaloto, tandem Boobay and Tekla for The Boobay and Tekla Show, Maine Mendoza for Daddy's Gurl, and Paolo Contis for Bubble Gang.

It's a tight race for News Personality of the Year with Jessica Soho, Mel Tiangco, and Kara David vying for the award for the female category. For the male category, Atom Araullo and Mike Enriquez are head-to-head.

Kapuso shows are also nominated with Barangay LS 97.1 nominated for Radio Station of the Year, while Sahaya, Onanay, Kara Mia, and My Special Tatay are competing for the Bet na Bet na Teleserye category.

Similarly, GMA-7 is nominated for TV station of the year.
