'Magandang Dilag' actor Benjamin Alves on his now soon-to-be wife Chelsea Robato's family: 'I'm so glad to be your son and I'm so glad to be part of your family.'
Benjamin Alves and his girlfriend, Chelsea Robato, made it official by getting engaged last December 29.
The Magandang Dilag actor popped the question in an intimate affair held in a restaurant in Shangri-La The Fort, Manila.
Little did Chelsea know that her mom and aunts secretly planned the special milestone event with Benjamin.
For Chelsea's relatives, this was also their way of formally welcoming Ben into their family.
And to honor them, he expressed his sincerest gratitude to his now soon-to-be wife's family, as seen on their engagement video posted on their joint YouTube channel.
Ben said, "It's been three and a half years and you guys have been so nice to me. My life has been so much better being with Chelsea and being with her family so thank you.
"I hope you guys continue to support us and we have a long and very stressful few months ahead of us to get married so I love you guys.
"And if there's anything that I can be of service to you guys please let me know and I'm so glad to be your son and I'm so glad to be part of your family so thank you so much."
