BTS expands the BT21 universe by giving their characters longer backstories.
Global K-pop superstars BTS once again sat down together to expand the universe of BT21, characters which they personally designed.
BTS reschedules 'Map of The Soul' Tour due to COVID-19
BT21 is a collaboration between animated character brand LINE FRIENDS and BTS which was launched back in 2017.
In 2019, they expanded the BT21 universe by giving the characters friends and family.
For 2020, the group was tasked to give their characters goals as well as ways on how these characters can go about fulfilling them.
They decided to have Tata, RJ, Cooky, Koya, Chimmy, Shooky and Mang make a living by showcasing their talents on television. They also wanted the characters to gain fame by using these talents.

Meanwhile, BTS is set to appear in the first-ever virtual ceremony of the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on May 2.
They are also set to premiere a new docu-series called "Break the Silence" via the WeVerse app on May 12.
