
As an early Christmas present for fans, The IdeaFirst Company dropped the trailer of the much-awaited second season of Gameboys at midnight on September 1.
In the three-minute video, Cairo (Elijah Canlas) and Gavreel (Kokoy de Santos) are now living together alongside their friends Terrence (Kyle Velino), Wes (Miggy Jimenez), Pearl (Adrianna So), and Archilles (Kych Minemoto).
While cohabiting with their friends, Cairo and Gavreel's relationship is put to test. Cairo gets jelous of Terrence, Gavreel's ex-boyfriend.
At one point, Cairo even quipped, "Pinagsisiksikan ko pa 'yung sarili ko sa inyo. 'Di ba ako 'yung boyfriend mo?"
Despite the challenges they face as they ride the rollercoaster of love and life, these six friends still prove that family is not about blood, it's about love.
According to the show's director Ivan Andrew Payawal, they already finished taping the second season.
He said during his guesting in The Howie Severino Podcast on August 18, "Actually tapos na po kami sa season 2, na-shoot na po namin."

The first season of Gameboys, which aired on GMA's Heart of Asia Channel, is available for viewing on YouTube and Netflix.
