Kris Bernal planned a surprise birthday party for boyfriend Perry Choi but he had a better idea.
Kris Bernal and now fiancee Perry Choi's engagement made it to showbiz news headlines last February 6 but there's actually more to that announcement and the Kapuso actress shared it with her followers today, February 9.
In an Instagram post, Kris shared a short clip of what transpired a few days ago.
She wrote: "I had planned and organized a surprise party for Perry to celebrate his 36th birthday. Little did I know, a carefully planned surprise proposal was waiting for me, too. Back to back surprise! The rest is history!"

She added, "As a celebrity, I think it's unrealistic to keep something as big as an engagement a secret. I don't want to make a big fuss about this though it's been all over social media.
"The last 48+ hours have been a whirlwind. I'm still a bit shocked with a mix of so many emotions: excitement, happiness, love, and panic.
