The music video was shot in the US and is praised by fans for its “Hollywood” vibes.
Kapuso actress Lovi Poe added another feather in her cap with the release of her latest music video in support of her new song, 'Under.'
The music video brims with “Hollywood” feels and was directed by Jessica Fee.
The video saw the Owe My Love star on the streets Los Angeles, at home, and having a meal by herself - feeling neglected and upset with a loved one.
Lovi shared clips on Instagram to promote the single and music video to fans and followers.
'Under' is a collaboration between Lovi and American producers Bob Robinson, KrisKeyz, and Grammy Award winner Omen.
The song came about during Lovi's recent stay in LA.
“Been keeping this but I can finally share with you. Dreams do come true and mine came in the form of recording and being produced by Grammy award-winning producer Omen for my song Under!” wrote Lovi on Instagram.
Her caption was accompanied by a photo of her in the studio with Omen - who has worked with stars such as Beyonce and Drake in the past - busily mixing the track on a console.
“Was quite nervous in the studio but he really did sprinkle magic on the song.”
'Under' came out on Spotify last February 26. The track will be included in Lovi's upcoming EP to be released in May under the LA-based label, VIM Entertainment.
The song has so far earned positive reviews and reactions from listeners. Many compared the song and Lovi's voice to American singer Ariana Grande.
“Ariana Grande feels. Girl crush forever, relaxing ng boses,” wrote a fan Lovi's VEVO channel.
“You sound like Ariana Grande. The music video and everything are so nice and perfect. You are such a goddess, so beautiful,” commented another.
“From melodic now comes a different genre. Always nailing it. Fan of her music since 'Huwag Kang Mangako' came way back 2013,” said another fan.
Lovi has two studio albums under her resume - Bloom and The Best of My Heart - under Sony BMG.
She also released singles and recorded theme songs for movies and TV shows over the years including 'Nais Ko,' 'Dito sa Puso,' 'Suddenly It's Magic,' 'Love Affair,' and 'Even If.'
