Netflix continues to thrill anime and gaming fans as it drums up anticipation for its upcoming series, DOTA: Dragon's Blood.
This time, the popular streaming platform drops the program's full trailer to further give viewers a glimpse of what to expect on March 25.
DOTA: Dragon's Blood is based on the massively successful and popular video game franchise, DOTA 2, by the US-based video game developer, Valve.
The series follows the story of Davion, a celebrated Dragon Knight on a mission to eliminate the scourge from the face of the Earth.
It won't be that easy as Davion will come across various powerful entities including the ancient eldwurm and Princess Mirana. Davion will find himself “embroiled in events much larger than he could have ever imagined.”
Fans will get a much deeper understanding of the game as the series delves deep into the lore surrounding its story and characters.
Netflix announced the series in February of this year. The anime is a collaboration between Netflix Animation, Valve, and Seoul-based animation company, Studio Mir.
DOTA: Dragon's Blood features the voices of Yuri Lowenthal (Davion), Josh Keaton (Bram), Lara Pulver (Princess Mirana), Tony Todd (Slyrak the Ember Eldwurm), Troy Baker (Invoker), and Kari Wahlgren (Luna), among others.
Netflix is poised to release a number of anime shows this year. Some of the much-anticipated anime titles include Pacific Rim: The Black, The Way of the Househusband, Eden, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, The Seven Deadly Sins, Baki, Hanma, Godzilla Singular Point, and Trese.
