'Centerstage' judge Pops Fernandez uploaded a YouTube vlog featuring her fun-filled birthday bash in Ilocos Sur last December.
Centerstage judge Pops Fernandez celebrated her 54th birthday at Safari Hotel and Villas in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur last December. The Concert Queen shared the details of the celebration in her latest vlog.
She was joined by her closest friends during the trip. And to practice safety precautions against COVID-19, the plane that took them to the northern city was only boarded by herself and her guests.
Upon arrival, they visited the Baluarte Resort and Mini Zoo, where they got close to animals like zebra, deers, and tigers.
The vlog also featured Pops and her birthday attendees partying and grooving to music. They got the chance to play volleyball, too.
Pops said that she really enjoyed their stay there, sharing that her voice got hoarse the next morning after all the partying. However, she promptly said that she is okay and healthy.
“The quick getaway trip for my birthday finally ended. Again, may we remind you, we were all safe, swabbed, we did practice safety protocols, but did have a great time.
“Sa sobrang saya, ayan po namalat po ako. I'm not sick I just hamugan yata. Hindi na yata ako sanay sa hamog,” she said.
The singer also thanked the people who helped with the planning of her birthday bash.
“Maraming maraming salamat po kay Manong Gov. Chavit [Singson]. Nagpapasalamat po ako sa lahat ng mga nakasama namin dito sa Narvacan, to all the staff and everyone who took care of us here,” she concluded.

Prior to this, GMA's reality singing competition, The Clash, where Pops served as one of the judges, prepared a surprise birthday celebration for her in a pre-taped episode that aired last December 12.
She even got emotional after hearing the well-wishes from her manager Joji Dingcong, her mother Dulce Lukban, and sons Ram Nievera and Robin Nievera.
Furthermore, Pops and her sons Robin and Ram, ex-husband Martin Nievera, and even the latter's son with former partner Katrina Ojeda welcomed the year 2021 together on the picturesque Balesin Island, in Polillo Quezon.
