In an interview with 24 Oras reporter Nelson Canlas, the Kapuso actress shared that it took a lot of courage for her to do the said shoot.

“Probably because I wasn't that encouraged enough or I wasn't that confident enough in my own skin then.

“Now, I'm more mature and I don't have to ask permission from anyone. Well, except for my daughter Ashley.”

Speaking of her daughter, Sheryl confesses that she's proud of her 18-year-old and that they find the time to bond despite her daughter being based in America.

“What I want is a friendship with my daughter.

“We already know how it goes nowadays, 'di ba? If you don't communicate there would be no bonding between you and your child.

“To be in her life it's better if you communicate as friends,” she said.
