After over a decade in showbiz, Barbie Forteza takes a look back at some of her most memorable roles.
Barbie Forteza shared five of her most memorable roles to date in her Give Me 5 video on GMA Network.
In the video, Barbie gave a shout out to her 2011 drama Nita Negrita, where she played the titular role.
According to Barbie, this show of hers was especially memorable because it's her most physically and emotionally demanding role.
"Grabe 'yon, up to this day, 'yun ang most challenging role ko both physically and as an actress.
"Physically kasi talagang kahit 'yung taping chair ko, may parang marka na 'eh kung saan ako hihiga kasi humahawa 'yung black na body makeup. Tapos isipin n'yo from 7 AM to 7AM the next day, ganoon 'yung feeling.
"I had to train gymnastics kasi nga gymnast ako doon [laughs]. 'Eh Diyos ko, hindi naman ako talaga sporty.
"Bilang aktres naman, kailangan double effort kasi nga since itim lahat so hindi mapapansin ng tao kapag mga small nuances lang. Kailangan talaga lakihan, 'yung mata talaga 'yung magsalita," wika niya.
