Noynoy Aquinos birthday

'Unang Hirit' host Connie Sison uploaded a short video clip of PNoy celebrating his 61st birthday with friends last February 2021.

The country is still reeling from the shocking news of the death of former President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III.

PNoy died at the age of 61 due to renal disease secondary to diabetes.

Ordinary people and even celebrities continue to post tribute and extend their condolences to the Aquino family.

Yesterday on Instagram, Unang Hirit host Connie Sison uploaded a short video clip taken during the 61st birthday of the former president in February.

The video was provided by PNoy's closest friend Gen. Alvin Francis Javier, which showed a simple celebration with his firing buddies at a firing range in Quezon City.

Connie posted, “This video was taken during former President Noynoy Aquino's 61st birthday last February 8, 2021 at a firing range in Quezon City. He was given this simple celebration by his firing buddies. Who would have thought that it would be his last birthday celebration?

“May His soul rest in peace.”

Even GMA news reporters and anchors who covered the 15th President of the Philippines also took to social media to pay tribute.

Among those who remembered the memory of the son of the late democracy icons Senator Ninoy Aquino and former President Cory Aquino were Pia Arcangel and Tina Panganiban-Perez.
