In an exclusive video shot for 'Mars Pa More,' Gabby Concepcion shows us what he really does when he's at this beach house.

Like many celebrities, First Yaya star Gabby Concepcion has found respite from the stressful city life by living in his beach house in Lobo, Batangas.

In his recent Mars Pa More guest appearance, Gabby gave a glimpse of his simple, laid-back life there through videos that he shot exclusively for the program.

The Kapuso star revealed that he's now staying in his beach house most of the time.

And while rest and relaxation are probably the top things one would like to do when at the beach, during a regular day there, Gabby is actually busy doing some clean-up efforts and salvaging wood.

Apparently, Gabby is not only a plantito, but he's also an environmentalist who religiously gathers plastic waste.

“Ito naman 'yung beach clean-up sa harap ko kasi ang daming plastic. 'Di bale na 'tong mga niyog at kahoy at nagagamit namin 'yan sa pagluluto. Pero itong plastic kailangan madala sa center.

He admits that the plastic pollution is so bad that he has made it a habit to gather plastic waste whenever he can.

“Ang dami niyan. Ang dami niyan sa harap. In fact, may mga lugar na ganyan pa rin ang itsura and it takes time. Ilalagay mo sa sako para mailabas mo.

“'Pag nandiyan ako at nakakita ako ng maski anong tsinelas, takip ng bote, o bote kung minsan na lumulutang, dampot agad kasi kakalat lang eh.”

Aside from beach clean-up efforts, Gabby is also into upcycling wood.

“Ito 'yung magagandang kahoy na dinidisplay ko lang dahil baka magamit.”

Plus, he also collects the not-so-beautiful pieces of wood, so they could be used as firewood for cooking.

In the exclusive video, Gabby can also be seen gathering malunggay leaves and sanding a wooden table using an angle grinder.

Who knew Gabby isn't only handsome and talented, but also an environmentalist and a handyman?
