Singer Mark Bautista opened up about his love life during the media conference for the upcoming concert “Bautista X Bautista” on February 19, following a playful remark from fellow performer and All-Out Sundays mainstay Christian Bautista about his wish for Mark to find a partner soon.
The comment sparked curiosity about Mark's current relationship status, prompting the singer to share where he stands today.
Mark revealed that while he remains single, he is open to meeting new people. “Now I am meeting people. Sabi ko nga sa last interview ko na kahit connected kayo, tapos hindi pa kayo nag-co-commit, [minsan] parang mag-fi-fade na lang 'yung attraction or something. So parang nawawala but at this point, sinabi ko na ito, my heart is in a happy place. Kahit single,” he said.
When asked how long he has been unattached, the singer admitted it has been quite some time. “Matagal din. Years. Sa panahon ngayon every time magbi-birthday ako, parang kailangan na [ng partner],” he shared, reflecting on the expectations that often come with getting older.
Meanwhile, Mark also looked back on his last serious relationship, revealing that it lasted for about a year and ended some time ago. Despite the breakup, he emphasized that he has already moved forward. “Matagal na 'yung last. I had a relationship for one year tapos biglang nawala na lang. Naka-move on naman ako ng maayos,” he said.
Beyond personal matters, the two singers are preparing for their upcoming joint concert, "Bautista X Bautista," which will take place on March 6 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
