Congratulations to Will Ashley for winning the Best Supporting Actor at the Manila Film Critics Circle Awards.
Balota, directed by Kip Oebanda, bagged multiple recognitions at the Manila Film Critics Circle Awards.
These include Best Actress for Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera and Best Supporting Actor for Sparkle star Will Ashley.
Will earned the award for his commendable performance in Balota, in which he portrayed the role of Enzo, the son of Teacher Emmy [Marian Rivera].
Aside from this, the movie bagged the Best Picture and Best Original Story awards.
Balota is a 2024 Philippine political thriller film and a Cinemalaya entry, highlighting the story of the sanctity and integrity of elections.
It was co-produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Entertainment Group.
Meanwhile, Will previously starred in GMA and ABS-CBN's collaboration project Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition. He ended his journey in Big Brother's house as the second big placer alongside his final duo, Ralph De Leon.
