A GMA Artist Center talent, Rhian has honed her craft and has established a name for herself in the business.”I’m a very committed person. I concentrate on a task instead of spreading myself thin. Nothing I do is half-baked. I hate embarrassing myself,” ang pahayag ni Rhian. This is the reason why Rhian accepted just a few offers even after the deluge of projects that came her way since her noteworthy performance on the top-rating Stairway to Heaven. Apart from starring in last month’s Dear Friend series, Rhian is now concentrating on finishing her forthcoming album. “One of the executives of Belhaus Entertainment [her album producer] saw me singing on SOP. They called and offered a recording contract. Did I play coy? Nah!” She added na hands-on siya pagdating sa creative decisions ng kanyang album. She notes, "Sobrang konti ang mahahanap mong kanta dun na, na hindi ako nakialam. 'Yung point ng album is very honest siya. Maraming either na naramdaman ko one or the other--either nanggaling sa mga characters na na-play ko or sa totoong buhay so hopefully, ma-enjoy ‘to ng mga tao." We are sure that her fans are looking forward to her first album, but the question still remains, kailan ba siya ulit makikita ng kanyang fans on-screen? "Well, I've already completed the indie film that I wanted to do during my break, the title is Saving Sally," ang kuwento ni Rhian. She added that she will be playing opposite her Dear Friend co-star TJ Trinidad. But on television she assures her fans that she will be back soon enough. "On primetime, well I'm planning to get back to work siguro in a month or two. It’s just ayun na nga parang for the first part of this year, I just really wanted to take a break for the first time in my career so ayun siguro. After this I’ll be ready to work for another four years!" And with that she ends the interview with her infectious laugh.
