You're My Favorite Song lead actors Caprice Cayetano, Heath Jornales, Clifford, and Marco Masa shared a glimpse into their roles in the newest GMA Afternoon Prime series.

In an interview with "Chika Minute" on 24 Oras, they also discussed the preparations they've undertaken for their respective performances.

Caprice offered a revealing look into her character's spirited personality and the conflicts she faces in the academic setting.

“Grabe po siya sa school. Mayroon po siyang medyo kaaway dun sa school, kaya abangan n'yo po 'yun kung sino siya. So, medyo palaban kaya sabi ko, 'Hala.' Pero hindi naman po siya nang-aaway, very protective lang po siya sa mga loved ones niya,” Caprice said.

Meanwhile, Heath provided a backstory for his character, Miguel, who has spent his entire life under the intense pressure of the spotlight.

He noted that despite the exhaustion of fame, Miguel finds ways to reclaim his freedom by performing incognito in public spaces.

“Miguel never really had a chance to become a normal kid kasi he was exposed to demanding management and fans screaming out his name. Sometimes he goes to nagba-busking busking siya tapos he wears a mascot para hindi siya makilala pero he still loves to perform,” Heath shared.

Clifford also revealed that he is conducting thorough research for his role, even reaching out to Kamao lead star Anton Vinzon for expert advice on how to portray a “tough guy' persona.

“I'm doing my research and may kinausap din po ako. Isa siya sa pinakamaangas sa mundo, si Anton Vinzon. Actually, kinausap ko na po si Anton, nanghingi po ako ng tips,” Clifford said.

He continued, 'Sinabi niya na, 'Clifford bawal ka na magsuot ng ganito ha ngayon, maangas ka na. Ito na 'yung suot mo, ito na 'yung mukha mo, bawal mag-smile.'”

Meanwhile, Marco shared a lighthearted take on his preparation, noting that he turned to his co-star Clifford to learn the nuances of portraying a “soft boy.”

“Kung siya ang nagtanong kay Anton, ako naman, nagtanong kay Clifford. Soft boy kasi si Clifford. Since sanay na siya, doon nagpaturo naman ako kung paano maging soft boy,” Marco shared.

The series also features a reunion for Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 2.0 housemates, with Waynona Collings, Princess Aliyah, and Lee Victor joining the four lead stars in the cast.

Rounding out the ensemble are Sparkle Campus Cuties Andrei Fajardo and Kairo Lazarte of Cloud 7, along with veteran performers James Blanco, Katya Santos, and Buboy Garovillo.

Directed by JP Habac and written by Erwin Bravo, the upcoming series You're My Favorite Song will feature “CapEath,” Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales, alongside Marco Masa and Clifford.
