Newly-married couple Aiza Seguerra and Liza Diño sat down with Startalk Saturday, Dec. 20, for an exclusive interview.

From a light banter about Liza's Monique Lhuillier wedding gown, the conversation quickly turned to more serious matters.

"’Yung apelyido ni Liza ano’ng mangyayari? Kasali pa ‘yung mga pagpapalit?" Startalk host Joey de Leon asks.

"Legally, I can use Aiza's surname. Kasi ‘yung same sex couples are recognized in the same way that heterosexuals are recognized in the US," Liza explains.

"Papayagan ‘yun dito?" asks Lolit Solis.

"My name is legal over there, pwede siyang mag-translate dito sa Pilipinas. ‘Yung documents po, halimbawa ‘yung passport, of course, I can use 'Seguerra,'" she reiterates.

Aside from possible name change, there was also talk of babies. The couple admits that they plan to have kids through in vitro fertilization.

They are also not discounting the possibility of getting a surrogate mother if Liza turns out to be too delicate to carry the baby.

Aiza and Liza also share that they are having another wedding ceremony this January.

"It's more of a ceremony kasi nga ‘yung kasal namin doon hindi nakasama ‘yung mga magulang namin, ‘yung friends namin. Kasi mahal, eh!" Aiza says, as she bursts out laughing.

"’Yung ceremony rito, it's more of a celebration that we're gonna do here. It's for our friends," she says.
